Today I am showing you how to make crispy nuts. Crispy nuts are nuts that have been soaked and dried out again either in the oven or dehydrator to make them easier for our bodies to digest and get the nutrients from the nuts. They are very good for snacks, even thinking about them makes me hungry mmm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ingredients_You_Need_to_Make_Crispy_Nuts\"><\/span>Ingredients&nbsp;You Need to Make Crispy Nuts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>520g (4 cups) Nuts (we have used pecans, pumpkin seeds, and almonds)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 teaspoons salt&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And some water to soak the nuts in&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is all you need to make crispy nuts, although you will also need an oven or dehydrator to dry the nuts out in.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Method\"><\/span>Method&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Put the nuts and salt in the bowl and put in enough water to cover the nuts by about 2 cm&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave to soak overnight for up to 24 hours&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a colander to drain and then rinse&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put the nuts in the dehydrator or on a baking tray if using the oven&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If using the dehydrator set the temperature to about 50 \u201360 degrees C (if using the oven put it on its lowest temperature setting)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave until crispy. Follow this recipe to make your own crispy nuts.
